Setting up Asset Management Projects

It’s simple to configure a project to include Asset Management features. Once set up, your Team Members will be able to immediately manage assets for this project. To create and manage a project with Asset Management:


  1. Create a project with the Asset Management feature enabled (checked On). At any time, you can also edit an existing project and enable this feature.

  2. When selecting the Asset Management check box, you are required to provide an Asset Management Assignment Group. This assignment group is the group of team members empowered to manage assets for this project.

  3. Once you have created a new project with the Asset Management feature enabled, you will arrive at the Project details page. This asset management project will inherit the following global and customer settings:
    • Asset Categories
    • Asset Models
    • Depot Facilities
